ARTUR HAIN

"Häring recognized my potential and always showed me the way. Today, I am an Authorized Officer and Head of Global Quality Management – a position I never imagined reaching."

Profile

FROM APPRENTICE TO GLOBAL QUALITY LEADER

Artur began his career at Häring in 2008, after deciding to enter the workforce directly after 12th grade rather than continuing in school. He completed his Mechatronics Apprenticeship at Häring with flying colors. During this time, his interest and talent in sales were recognized, leading him to switch departments and begin a part-time degree program. With Häring’s support and his own determination to invest time in his career after work and on weekends, he quickly advanced and was promoted to Group Manager in the New Parts Sales department.

His ambition continued to be rewarded: Artur moved to the USA and took on major responsibility as Vice President, playing a key role in establishing the new site – a milestone in his career and a demonstration of the company’s trust in him.

Today, as an Authorized Officer and Head of Global Quality Management, he oversees one of Häring’s central strategic areas – a strong example of how far dedication, determination, and initiative can take you.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT:
A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES

“Today, I am responsible for defining, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with quality standards across our entire corporate group, while also driving the strategic development of our quality organization. As a sparring partner for production and other internal departments, I help optimize processes and implement improvements that last.
My key responsibilities also include advising and coaching employees on all quality-related matters, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers to develop solutions together and strengthen partnerships over the long term. I also regularly report the most important developments and key performance indicators in quality management to our executive leadership.”

A MAJOR CAREER MILESTONE

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE?

“The biggest challenge is aligning our quality management and assurance organization with my strategy. I introduce new ideas while maintaining the proven structures, creating a solid foundation that allows us to sustainably advance our quality work in the long term.”

AN EASY DECISION?

“Because of to my close connection to quality in all of my previous roles, taking on this responsibility came very naturally to me. In fact, I have considered it a great honor to succeed my mentor and continue his work with the same passion.”

GLOBAL OR LOCAL?

“Thanks to todays technology, I can coordinate online on a daily basis, handling around 75% of all discussions virtually. The remaining 25% are in-person meetings, focused on building and maintaining relationships both inside and outside the company. As part of a global team, travel is simply a natural part of the job.”
