PROFILE

After completing his engineering degree, Sen Ye began his career with Häring in 2005. He spent his first four years at the company’s headquarters in Bubsheim, Germany, where he benefited from the intercultural exchange, learned the latest production technologies, experienced the family-oriented company culture, and even mastered the German language.
While still in Bubsheim, Sen Ye was entrusted with responsibility for the production of products destined for China. His exceptional commitment and ambition soon paid off: upon returning home in 2009, he took on full responsibility for production and quality management at the Chinese location while also playing an active role in establishing the new site.
In 2012, Sen Ye reached the next major milestone in his career: he became General Manager of Häring´s location in China, a position in which he continues to make a significant impact to this day.

Why do I enjoy working at Häring?

“The most exciting part of my job as General Manager in China is that no two days are ever the same. I really enjoy the daily challenges of being part of a growing family business. At Häring, I always have the chance to push myself further and bring new ideas to life with my colleagues across all locations.”

What do I consider a milestone in my work?

“To keep up with the latest technological developments, we focus on promoting young talent. In 2013, we took a big step forward at our Chinese location. With the dual apprenticeship program and the Häring Academy in Taicang, we give junior staff the opportunity to combine practical experience with theoretical knowledge, a model that has been established in Germany for a long time.”

What do I think about social projects?

“Taking on social responsibility and working on intercultural projects is very important to me, and Häring fully supports this. Since 2015, I have been closely involved in creating the Häring Sino-German Kindergarten. We converted a 4,000-square-meter building into a kindergarten, currently providing places for 28 children. The demand is even higher, so there is still a lot of work ahead, but it is a rewarding and fun project alongside my role as General Manager.”
